Lindsays Science Fair project

A few weeks ago Lindsay participated in the Hurricane Intermediate Science Fair. She and her friend Cassidee decided to see if mealworms preferred black or white paper better...or something to that effect. It is always so fun to see what ideas your kids come up with for the science fairs. They did a great job on their poster and learned that mealworms prefer the black paper better....I guess because they think it's warmer or something? Anyhew, GREAT JOB LINS! We love you so much and I am so thankful that you strive for good grades and try to be a good friend to everyone. Love Ya Lins!

The New Holli

Ok so about a month ago Holli got her braces taken off and I had the funniest picture of her to blog about...BUT she made me swear on my life that I wouldn't post it on my blog....hee hee SO, I found this picture of her and thought it would be fun to show some of my family that views this blog the "NEW HOLLI". She recently changed her hair color to a darker brown and with her braces off looks like a whole different Kid. Holli is growing up so darn fast it's crazy! In one month she gets her learners permit and will be starting to drive..(so watch out) We are facing this teenage thing head on with Holli and sometimes wish we had the "How to teach your teenager...for dummies" book. Holli is a great example to her sisters and we appreciate all she does for her family:)Love Ya Holls!

A fun day hiking Molleys Nipple.....................oops can I say that on here?

I have always wanted to hike Molleys Nipple so over spring break we packed some drinks and goodies and drove the short one mile drive to the trail. We oopsed and took the wrong trail first and ended up finding an amptheatre like cove. It was so much fun for the girls. They are all getting older and it is becoming more challenging to keep them entertained for "Free". BUT>>>They all had a blast on this hike looking for cool rocks and just spending time together. Well, we finally found the right trail up the mountain and headed out. It was a beautiful day. After hikking about 1/2 way up to the top my Mom instincts kept telling me we should stop and head back down. It was a little steep and me being the "overly cautious Mom" that I am held Alley and Jenna's hand the whole way up and back. Poor kids...sometimes I wish I could just relax and let them loose a little but I just always worry about them getting hurt..I guess it's a MOM THING? Anyhew...we made it up to a really cool look out point and took some pics to document our memories. I decided we need to go hiking more often..It was ALOT of fun and FREE:)
